INCREDIBLE LINE-UP OF FINALISTS ANNOUNCED FOR THE VEUVE CLICQUOT BUSINESS WOMAN AWARD 2010
The judges of the Veuve Clicquot Business Woman Award today released the amazing list of Australian finalists for the 2010 Award...


A truly international award celebrated in 17 countries, 2010 will be the sixth consecutive year of the Veuve Clicquot Business Woman Award in Australia. Past winners include Mandy Foley-Quin, CEO of Stedman’s Hospitality; Elizabeth Ann Macgregor, Director of the Museum of Contemporary Art; oil tanker captain, the late Suzannah Vaughan; Sarina Bratton, founder of Orion Expedition Cruises; and Wendy Erhart, co-founder of Withcott Seedlings. These five Australian women are now ‘friends of the widow’, a select international group celebrating outstanding achievements in business.

A panel of esteemed judges including Justice Annabelle Bennett AO, Deeta Colvin, Colette Garnsey, Janet Holmes à Court AC, David Murray AO, Marilynne Paspaley AM, James Paton and Alison Watkins determine who will be the winner of this distinguished award for women in business, based on the Award criteria.

The Australian winner of the Veuve Clicquot Business Woman Award will be announced on International Women’s Day, March 8, 2010. The winner will be presented with the Veuve Clicquot Business Woman Award silver trophy, six magnums of Veuve Clicquot yellow label brut and a business class ticket, or two premium economy tickets, to France to attend the 2010 International Businesswomen’s Forum in Reims. A vine will be dedicated to her and each year, on Madame Clicquot’s birthday, the winner will receive a gift of Veuve Clicquot La Grande Dame champagne to celebrate in style. The nominator of the winner is not forgotten and will receive a jeroboam of Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label Brut.
